Dillard's Fires Employee Who Child a Racial Slur

Texas Dillard's employee is fired after he goes viral for calling a teen shopper the N-word.

Dillard's is taking action against an employee who was confronted by a customer who says the white man hurled the N-word at him in front of his family. The encounter at the Dillard's in Dallas was recorded in what has become a widely circulated video on social media.

Neither Dillard's nor the relative of the customer, who recorded the video, was immediately available to comment on the situation, but the company's Twitter account says the employee has been fired.

"The allegations made against our former employee were promptly investigated, found to be in clear violation of our standards, and his employment with Dillard’s was immediately terminated."
