Virginia Deputy Attorney General Resigns After Calling J6 Rioters Patriots

Virginia deputy attorney general Monique Miles resigns after her Facebook posts praising the January 6 rioters as patriots and spreading conspiracy theories about voter suppression costing Donald Trump the 2020 election are uncovered... 

As deputy attorney general for government operation and transactions, Miles's job included representing the state in election-related lawsuits and giving legal advice to the Department of Elections and to the state Board of Elections. 

The Attorney General's office claims they were not aware of Miles posts when she was hired.
