J6 Defendant Kills Himself in Jail

One of the January 6 Capitol Hill rioters has committed suicide while awaiting trial. 

Matthew Perna, a Trump supporter who was arrested after January 6, found dead after suspected suicide. That makes five dead J6 protesters. 

Perna's aunt, Geri Perna, tearfully explains, “They broke him, they mentally broke him. He had run out of hope. I know he couldn’t take it any more.”
