AT&T Helped Launch Far Right News Station

American telecom giant AT&T funded the launch of right wing news network One America News...

A review of court records by Reuters has found that the far right leaning network, that helped spread the big lie about 2020 election fraud, was funded by AT&T to the tune of tens of millions of dollars.

OAN founder and chief Robert Herring testified in a 2019 deposition that AT&T execs told him, "They wanted a conservative network. They only had one, which was Fox News, and they had seven others on the other [leftwing] side. When they said that, I jumped to it and built one.”

AT&T stock has plummeted since the Reuters report went public.
